Humza Ali Counselling

They’re caught in their habits, relationships, or thoughts, and aren’t sure how to move forward. They carry pressure, doubt, and frustration, but often keep it to themselves. I help my clients get clear on what’s going on internally, build emotional resilience, and take steady steps toward real change.

My approach to therapy is authentic, collaborative, and growth-focused. Therapy with me is not just about endless venting. It’s about recognizing patterns, expanding awareness, and building tools that actually work. You’ll be supported, but also challenged in order to foster growth.

I draw from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), blending practical strategies with deeper emotional work. For Muslim men, our sessions can also be a space to explore religion, identity, and purpose in a way that feels real and non-judgmental.

My background includes clinical training at CAMH, serving as an imam and prison chaplain, and currently supporting full-time hifz students in Toronto. I bring both clinical training and grounded experience to the emotional, relational, and spiritual challenges my clients face.

If you’re ready to do meaningful work on yourself, I offer a space to walk that path with clarity and purpose.
